I am in my late fifties and I have to tell you I have never had precum during all my years of masturbation. My cock remains dry right up to the point of ejaculation. I've been with guys who produce precum, guys who don't, guys who are cut and uncut. Some produce streams of delicious precum, some produce a little bit, some produce none. Personally, I am a 'moderate' pre-cummer, and the more horny I am, the more precum I produce. My latest partner produces none whatsoever. Ever. But it doesn't matter either way. Everyone's different! Hardasarokkk - I too almost produce none. A few drops at most. Some produce quite a bit. On the technical side, it does matter if cut or uncut. Pre-cum comes from the Cowpars Gland. It is produced to clean out the urtherea of any bacteria so as not to contaminate seman and also (in a way) create a slick surface for the seman to move faster.

So now im thinking lots of precum means extra shooting distance. With me and never any precum it explains why I just shoot 1 shot and the rest is oozing ( my pic says it all maybe?) Do you big shooters get lots of precum?

Having been circumcised relatively late in life (age 45), I have observed that the quantity and or times of producing pre-cum do not seem to be associated with being cut. Rather, in my experience, the younger you are the more likely you are to produce copious amounts under all sexual - arousal situations. :tongue: As you age, the numbers of situations under which precum is exuded diminish, but here is the surprise... the amount of pre-cum exuded while edging or watching porn (for an older guy) is just as copious and just as nectar-like as that produced by a much younger man! :tongue: A similar statement can be said about the quantity of semen produced after edging or watching porn. I interpret this to mean that the mechanisms to produce pre-cum or semen do not change or vary, rather, the triggers to produce or not to produce do change and vary from situation-to -situation and over time.

OK now this makes no sense. Some men have none or very little pre cum - then near the age of 50 it can start flowing like a faucet. Now this is not all men. But I have read about this happening.

Do we have a Doctor in the house to help explain this ????? I'm 48 and wouldn't mind a bit myself.

Not sure if it helps shed any light on things, but I'm currently producing more precum than I ever have at any point in my life. Not sure why, exactly, but it really seems to be the case.

Might be related to the fact that I'm careful to make sure I'm thoroughly hydrated all the time. Plus, since I'm currently uninvolved and taking care of things on my own, I tend to play awhile before going for broke. That might be giving enough time for the fluid levels to build?

As in so many other threads that start with a generalization either there is no logical proof to hold the theory together or it is very little truth with large amounts of exception. I can say I've seen the whole from a faucet thing with an older guy and he was uncut, menaing the it's a youth thing, and it's a cut thing out the window, but I can do that too some days, so the throws out any quik theory that oder guys or uncut guys ony can do it. In shorth this theory is busted. I can only suggest it has to do with arrousal and what the body is capable of. Perhaps a shot without precum is a hurried shot? there are many factors that can better explain it but none will be definitive, so there really isn't much more point in speculating it.

I'm uncut, and produce a lot of precum... from the time I first get sexually interested (always by first kiss, sometimes by first look) in whomever right up to right before I ejaculate. By the time I get my shorts off, they're usually wet with precum.

I typically ejaculate a fair amount (more than fill up the reservoirend of a condom), but it doesn't shoot as far as it did when I was a kid.

In my experience, how much precum you produce doesn't relate to circumcision status at all. Some guys produce it, some don't; some are cut, some aren't.

I'd think that genetics has a lot to do with how much a guy precums. I'd also agree that your state of hydration has a lot to do with how much you produce. I'd suspect your consumption of coffee, Coke and other caffeinated substances also has an effect (caffeine being a diuretic). So if you want to produce more cum, drink more water and less coffee!

That's my non-medical advice.
