Ladies, did you share with your girlfriend you being a member of lpsg?

I was just wondering, if being a female member here in lpsg is something that can be shared spontaneously among a group of close/intimate female friends, or there would be a risk of being judged detrimentally.

Thank you in advance for replies, I am always fascinated by how female socialisation of certain questions operate in an entirely different way.

A few of my female friends know about the site. Most of my friends are not as open about sexual stuff as I am, and that's okay. I work with the comfort level of folks on a case by case thing. It isn't fear of judgement that is the deciding factor of telling someone or not. I don't like to make friends uncomfortable. Go figure.

Oh, I should add that I have male friends who I have told about the site, along with non-binary friends. Comfort level is the deciding factor for telling them, on their part, not mine. I'm not friends with judgemental assholes.

Both my sister and my best friend know I'm a member here, and I shared it with them when I was brand new and having fun.

My sister was absolutely horrified that I'd use my real picture in my avatar. She'd die if she knew I had an album of pictures now!

Neither expressed an interest in joining. They knew why I joined and for whom.

Like @MickeyLee, I have a few close people who know about this site, namely my sister and a couple very close friends. I do talk about ML and others I know from here, plus some discussion topics -- particularly with my sister, she's a sex educator.

I view this site as a social medium, also as an interest specific and sex positive place. I really cannot stress enough how much i love a lot of the ladies i have met here and a small portion of the men.
