I am a totally garbage photographer, but I try no to worry about appearances too much after the fact. As long as the pictures have some semblance of being genuine, passionate, or interesting, then I am happy.

I've taken them, didn't like them and deleted them. I don't like how my body looks anyway, so I wouldn't expect it to look better in pictures. As a photography enthusiast, I suggest that you be mindful of lighting. I don't like using flash because the glare can make anything look bad, especially skin. Subtle lighting conditions can create shadowing that might help set the mood of the photo and accentuate those features you want to accentuate (or hide the ones you don't).

I work as a photographer and videographer. besides lighting, which has already been mentioned, the lens on most consumer cameras or cell phone cam is an extremely wide one. when something fills the frame, it gets distorted around the edges. if your cam has an optical zoom, try setting the camera further away and dooming in tight.

I totally agree with everything BBW36 just said. It's pretty rare that I find a photo I've taken of me that I would consider keeping, I hate photos of me, always have, even when I was very young and slim...(in other words decades ago). I recently brought an old photo album into work to scan some photos to share and one of the younger guys was in his cube playing the song 'I'm a Believer' by the Monkees. I mentioned that I had a photo in my album of Davey Jones taken at a concert I attended in 1966 (I was 13 at the time). Next thing I knew there were 5 people looking through that old photo album and apparently getting quite a kick out of the old photos judging from their comments. When my young co-worker came across a couple of photos taken when I was 19 years old he said 'Wow, you look just like a Ralph Lauren model!" I couldn't see it at all, but apparently he saw something that made him make the comment so I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder, not necessarily the person who owns the body in the photo.

Members of the site have been asking for full body photos and I have not been able to bring myself to accommodate the requests - or at least not yet. It's like forcing me to look at something that I don't want to see... if that makes sense?

When I have taken pics with a partner with the intent to take a few to keep, we would take a lot and edit like cropping or adjusting the color. There are times have taken cell pics some look great others get deleted lol. I agree with the lighting comments, lighting is everything

I dont like taking nude pictures either...never have...

My ass and boobs look good in pictures that I have tried..but deleted almost all of them...my stomach is not even getting near a camera. And sexual action shots just don't do it for me. It looks weird..can't understand why guys like that so much..but hey.

Almost all of the nude pictures of women on this site..i don't like.. Some women are shaped very beautifully..and I can see that..but as soon as the vagina's start flying around in all sorts of crazy positions I start to wonder * what the hell was she thinking*..

don't mean to offend..but that's how i feel. But I do understand that most pics are taken for guys here.. and they have other criteria for enjoyment.

The ones I like are usually professionally done..

Oh..and when I look at the picture of some hot single guy with a great body..the minute I see an action photo with the ex girlfriend sucking his big ol' dick or he's fucking her..it puts me right off. Guys love to see that..but for me as a woman its kind of a downer looking at a picture like that. Doesn't appeal to me at all.

That's why I don't choose to stroll around galleries that much..

I remember the gf I had back when we were yong (I was 19 and she was 18.) Whenever anyone pointed a camera her way... Well, it was a big issue. She'd pull faces, run away, make a big fuss. She had a totally poor image of herself. It might have stemmed from comparing herself to her older sister, who had better posture and seemed more confident all round. My gf's poor self image was not easy to deal with, and I hope she went on to gain more confidence, because she was actually very lovely all round.

I went back to college to learn photography and later became a professional photographer. I now know that there are lots of people who, like you subgirrl, feel that they are not photogenic. But you know, that's a self fulfilling prophesy. I'd love to spend a bit of time with you subgirrl (for all sorts of reasons )). Hopefully, you'd trust me to take some shots of you, and I'm sure I could come up with some pictures that would change your mind.

Never taken pics of me AND another... it was always video. He always looked good. My fat rolls always ended up showing. Never again.

I've deleted every photo except for face shots for a reason: I tried to keep them up, and realized how horrible I looked in them. I realize how I'm not successfully bulimic anymore. The camera doesn't add 10lbs, except to my boobs, which I keep getting 'You got beautiful big boobs'.

No. No I don't. 36b is NOT big. It's all about camera angles.

Cellulite and stretch marks are not attractive on my body...

I'm pasty. I hate it, but I also hate tanning, and spray tanning is expensive... sort of a catch 22 to cater to the shallow side.

I think you all should do more your best in trying to make good photos. I agree, blowjob photos are mostly unflattering, but focus more on detail. I didn't like my penis and my body in pictures, but as I made those, I forgot about my hobby: photography. You can do so much with shades/light/angle/colour/b&W. It takes some effort to make good photos. Keep that in mind.
And ladies: a vagina is a wonderful object to photograph. Apart from all the other female parts.
