Thanks for sharing your experience. Sounds like your first experience would have fallen into the first question for a while, and who could blame you. That sounds like a very bad experience. I have a follow up question: had you not tried anal sex and had such a bad experience the first time, do you think you would have tried it eventually, and would it have been your idea, or your partners?

You also raised a couple good points. First, I had not considered age. It was assumed on my part, we would be talking about 18 and over experiences, since underage discussions are not permitted. So let me clarify that now: For this discussion, please only describe experiences 18 and over.

Second, I can see how your case doesn't precisely fit the listed selections. Unfortunately that was the maximum amount I could list, which is why I added "most appropriately" in the question, but I see how yours could doesn't fall into any of those. I'm generally a very sex positive/open person. I've had interest in, enjoyed, lived, etc BDSM for years. I may have experimented on my own for novelty, but there's no way for me to really hazard a guess. I've tried a wide variety of things solo as well as with others. If a partner is into something, the list of things I would outright refuse to try is pretty dang short. Even if it isn't something I myself loved, if it was something a partner loved, I'm pretty flexible and willing.

Yes, true, you did. Which is why i was asking the follow up. It seemed to me to indicate you would need clitoral stimulation, because anal alone was not sufficient. And the question is still valid: one can still initiate sex, for the benefit of the other person.

I can't cast my vote. None of them meet my experience. Our friends made us feel like freaks for not having an interest in trying it and they convinced us to give it a go. We knew that the first time or two was probably not going to be successful. We tried it 10 times! It hurt every time except 1. It felt kind of good the second time and only at the end. And hurt everytime after that. There was plenty of foreplay and warm up.
Anything that required that much prep wasn't worth it. Especially since it hurt really bad everytime.
