Thanks for putting a smile on my face:

I recommend you boys try BOSS, by Hugo Boss:rolleyes:

Well, just because Jeff is apparently wearing my favorite... BOSS certainly is a good choice -
I always stop by the men's aisle just to smell that one. Just because it gets me in the mood

Crap, no-flirting zone... :tapedshut:
I'm always a bit bummed by that, Jeff... All the good ones are taken?

...oh, I just love it when people revive old treads, don't you? :yup:

I dont wear any kind of colonge at all...
I prefer to be neutral.
for example, my wife dated a guy that wore coolwater. now when ever she smells it, she gets nautious.

interesting thing though.. she says she loves the way I smell after I get back from the gym.

ME. :biggrin1:

oh. oh sorry, you wanted serious answer- truly and i know its been said, but if he wears any cologne (which I too prefer soapy clean smell) then it should be Obsession for men, light amount. I bought some once and would put a few drops on my pillow. Heavenly dreams.

Freshly showered
the natural male scent after mild exertion, especially on the neck below his earlobes. I swear pheremones are emitted from that area.
the smell of ocean water on his skin in the sun
sandalwood
Herrera for men in small amounts

As far as off the shelf fragrances go it would have to be Hugo Boss or D&G. Higher Energy by Dior is not bad but is bordering on being florally.

Other smells?
Freshly cut grass
Light sweat (no onion or garlic please)
Combined fluids from 6 hour bedroom marathon.

I like Polo Black, also.

And SassySpy, I do the same thing with Montblanc's "Individuel"....I use it for room spray or spray around the bedroom and it lands on everything.
That one just unravels me.

The natural male scent after mild exertion...

I was going to say "just a little bit sweaty," but Mercurial phrased it in a much more appealing way.

Personally, I've never been a fan of men's cologne. TM uses an unscented aftershave lotion that works well for his skin, but I have allergies and cologne tends to irritate me.

I do like to smell a man's hair when it's clean. It doesn't seem to matter what kind of shampoo he uses...clean hair just smells good. Mmmm....

Back to the sweat thing. I know there are pheromones in male sweat. In fact, I read a study once in which it was determined that minute traces of the chemicals in male armpit sweat, when inhaled, induced feelings of peace and security in female subjects.

After reading this, I had to conduct an experiment (of course), so I snuggled next to TM on the couch with my head on his shoulder (face close to his armpit). I did feel peaceful, and more secure, but I'm not sure whether it was aromatically based or simply the affects of being held by a cuddly guy...

So, a little bit of sweat is good. Not too much, though. In this case, more is definitely not better. :biggrin1:

Yep, for a long time I've used Nivea's aftershave balm...loved it for many reasons, including the lack of fragrance.

I just opened a new bottle last week, and they've gone and added some scent to it. Why can't well enough ever be left alone?

Try Clinique Skin Supplies for Men: Post Shave Healer. It's 15 bucks a bottle, but a little goes a long way.

Clinique | Men's Grooming | Shaving | Post-Shave Healer

(PSST...To other women: I use it as well, on the mons and outer lips of my pussy...not its intended use, but it really cuts down on irritation/etc. that can occur with shaving. Makes things look and feel a lot better.)

I would probably have the equivalent of a PHD in colognes.NOT kidding!

With over 30 colognes in my rotation these are my fave five. These are
nuclear weapons in scents. Note these are on the sweet side..not
perfumey but sweet.

Use with caution:

1) PS- Paul Sebastian
2) Touch by Fred Heyman(sp?)
3) California for men
4)Romeo Gigli
5) Canoe

Generic Fahrenheit is actually better than the real version and isnt bad
either.

You were warned...

I'd like to wear something that would smell nice for the more mature ladies, 50ish or better. Any different thoughts? I think women of that age may have grown up with different sensibilities, the scents that appeal to the younger women might not appeal to my "target audience."

Thanks!

Polo Black undoes me.

Also the combination of Devin, Camel no filter cigarettes, and leather. Reminds me of an old boyfriend ...wistful sigh.
