Hi Ladies,

I was reading through some threads and I see some guys posting here and getting torn to shreds. There are some pretty cringe-worthy posts here. I wonder if a little set of guidelines of how to approach this section of the site and how to get the most of it with examples of what to do and what not to do would be helpful.

What do you think?

I'm suggesting this because I think the guys posting here are all horned up and post thinking they'll get a reply like YES PLEASE Baby please pour your cum into my omelet. When in reality they get absolutely skewered and then things turn ugly. I know most of them won't read the guidelines but the good ones will. What do you think worth trying?

There needs to be something that reiterates men can only post on threads here if they started the thread. Also that they cannot post threads with dick pics asking if we think it's big enough
I agree. I also think a little coaching of how to approach this section.

Look guys are pigs especially when horny. So I imagine when a new guys posts here he thinks he's walking into a room with cock hungry women waiting for him to get a very rude awakening.

Wow! This is pleasant to see.

A sticky at the top of the section with the section rules titled in a way that calls attention explaining that this section discourages dick pics/porn clips, and that only women should answer questions would be awesome.

Also, a friendly reminder that we are not here to get them off, we are here to have adult discussions would be appreciated.

I wouldn't doubt that something similar in the AASM/other Ask Someone sections might also be helpful...

Ditto to above.

Maybe a reminder that if they have a question about their penis, to do a search first. We don’t rate, evaluate, or comment on penises.

Ugly posts that put women off omelettes (I’m still eating them!), are still going to pop up. What possible AAW guideline could stop that shite? The odd man is going to get “shredded” (I don’t think this guy even noticed), but those posts can still educate others on what women think about sneaking cum into their food. Off-putting posts can be quite interesting to read. We don’t need a vanilla site. At least that’s my opinion.

It’d be nice if men were respectful, but that’s what the TOS is for, and how else will we win at LPSG bingo if no one tries to “insult” us by calling us feminists or social justice warriors and the like? ;)

ML's Rules for Ask a Woman.

1. Women are not here to rate your wiener. Take your request and any embedded images to Show Offs.

2. Women are not being paid to indulge your fantasies or to provide wank fodder.

3. If you think your question is new or unique, it's not. Use the search option.

4. Don't call us liars when our truth doesn't align with your need to nut or sooth your ego.

5. Expect hostilities if 1 through 4 are not followed.

6. We have the ability to answer questions not about your dick.

A sticky would be a nice idea, but I think will get ignored. It's still worth putting out there.

As has already been said, the only time x demographic(s) are allowed to post in an Ask a section are when they are the creator of the thread would be good. Also, at least for Ask a Woman, pointing out that Ask a Woman is not the Show Off or Personal Ad section would be good too.

I know there are some straight men who would probably appreciate that in Ask a Straight Man too, but that's not my fight to make, so maybe create a similar thread for straight men to chime in on, if so inclined.

Edited to add: MickeyLee's suggestions, yes, those please

No weenie pics! Never. None. We have so many other forums that are chock-a-block full of weenies in various stages and sizes. We don't need them here.

There is absolutely no question that anyone could ask that requires a weenie picture for reference.

This forum is sort of my sanctuary from weenie pics. I don't get that break often. I treasure it here.

Agree with all

I'd really love to see similar guidelines for Women's Issues. I'm not sure guys even understand what that means.... At all.

I'm appalled at your misandrist attitude :D.
Seriously though, should men be mollycoddled, infantilized, and 'managed' in this way?

I think you might be right about that. But fuck 'em. I think you'll find that decent human beings don't get torn to shreds. The men who can't treat people with respect benefit immensely from their interactions in AAW.
