I heard 'Bad Romance' on the radio while driving through Texas at 2 am, and I was like, Wow. When I got home I googled her (him? it?). The video is SO Damn FREAKY and retro 80's, but check out her performance of 'Bad Romance' on the Ellen Degeneres show. She (he? it?) definitely has musical abilities. But if she is a he, she's still hotter than hell, and maybe I'll have to put "1% Gay" on my LPSG profile!

I think she would love that rumor! As wacky as she is, she really is a talented woman. Her real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. She is from Yonkers, NY and was accepted to prestigous Julliard School of Music in Manhattan at the age of 11, although she decided not to attend. She is, I believe, trained as a classical musician. I believe that she will eventually drop some of her out-of-this-world stuff and be around a long, long time.
I second that- I too thought she was 'freaky for the attention' (ie the video) but I happened to catch her on Ellen doing a (obviously) live accoustic version of Bad Romance and was blown away...she was improvising a bit (or seemed to) and there was some real talent there, and a quirky charm.
She also performed on (grammys?) against Elton John on the piano and held her own- thats not an easy feat...

That's being different and individual not being a freak. Maybe you consider anything outside your "norm" as being freakish.
I don't think she is super talented but I do think her individual style sets her apart from the crowd.

Her real name is Stefani Germanotta and she was full of talent even before she became Lady Gaga. She is definitely not a trans, it's a rumor which she herself uses as a successful publicity stunt to stick it to the haters and to get more fans.
