You may have a point but for what interests me I think a binary choice might be appropriate. Perhaps I could have phrased it as "particularly turned on". Indifferent is not turned on. A 4 is not "particularly turned on", you would be a "not turned on". Anyone else with this thought, if you're not a 6 or a 7 you're probably "not turned on".
Indifferent as in one way or the other, I don't mind... So I would "moderately agree" with your points of interest... a 4. If you don't like the likert method, you can always use a semantic differential. :tongue:
The problem I have with the way this is structured is that it seems more like it's what "you want to hear" (I don't mean that in a highly negative way) rather than how we feel. So narrowing the answers down so radically just pushes words into the mouths of participants, and how will that give you valid information?
