gigantikok: And you also don't see many specials on the topic becuase in american society it is somewhat of a taboo to speak of the penis and penis size especially. That might be a reason why you always see breasts and other body parts in movies, but very rarely see a penis.

I guess what I was trying to say was that while there have always been so-called 'pornographic' phallic descriptions, from an aesthetic point of view--the stuff you see hanging in museums, small has been rendered as the ideal proportion. Now, whether or not this was the ideal Da Vinci or Michaelangelo held in their personal lives is another matter! But I know, even as a kid, even before I knew I was larger than average, I would see your standard nude male painting or sculpture and think, 'that doesn't look like what I have. Is mine weird?'
