I really wish I could read the entire article to get more information, I'm wondering what their methods were in deciding condom issues. There are variables that can skew the results.

For instance, for the men whose condom slipped off, was he at maximum erection potential? Or was he not as hard as he normally is? This has happened to a number of men in which the desire to have sex is there, but the willy isn't quite willing and we have to will it to want sex. Sometimes that means inserting your semi hard penis inside your partner with the hope that it'll get harder once you get started. And for a few men who are trying to perform under stress that might mean having sex the entire time without a fully erect penis (yes, you can still have sex with a semi. Difficult, but possible). Also, was he on top or on bottom? Some men have reported that while being on the bottom, they lose a bit of their erection - mainly due to gravity. And if the woman is a vigorous rider, it is possible that during those up strokes that the condom is slowly being pulled off his not-quite-erect penis.

What about men who precum a lot? Some men have reported that because they secrete and fairly large amount of precum, the amount of fluid inside the condom causes the condom to slip off from time to time.

So there are things that I would hope they considered and threw those results out in order to get the best results as it pertains to condom performance. I have been using Magnum condoms for quite a while and I have never experienced any slippage - even when I'm not at full potential. However, I have had issues with precum and being on the bottom that caused the condom to begin coming off. But that wasn't a direct result of condom performance.

I can say that in few instances in which I did experience condom breakage it was while using a regular sized or fitted condom.

OP sounds like:

If your large size condoms are breaking a lot, you should downsize because you aren't as big as you think and are at a higher risk of breakage.

That's how I understood it. I don't break condoms very often so I guess I've got the right size :)

I guess that was the right way to put it. I read comments in a thread about condoms, and a few people commented they had trouble with magnums breaking regularly. Then, after taking a look in their gallery I saw they had a normal penissize, so I went googling about this.
Sorry I can't find the original article anymore. But there it was stated clearly that people should downsize more often than upsize if their condom is breaking. (There were numbers).

After having a conversation with a female friend about her boyfriend breaking a lot of condoms, we came to the conclusion that his condoms were probably too big. So I felt the need to share this with the world.

And as seen in the article petite posted, it's a lot safer to wear a size too small, than a size to large.
