Been to Vegas a few times but for some reason I have never thought of using the spa facilities until I saw this post.
So, what exactly are the typical etiquette for using hotel spas? Are swimsuites required for most of them? Can you use the spa only if you are the hotel guests or do they accept non-hotel guests (at a charge of course)?
Some spas used to require that you HAD to be a hotel guest to use their facilities, and some may still do this on the weekends so call in advance. IMO the nicer the hotel the nicer the spa.
As far as personal etiquette remember these are HEALTH spas and public places, most people are there to relax not see you blow the guy next to you. If you want to hook up with someone good for you but PLEASE take the sex back to your room. As far as nakedness goes these are like regular gym locker rooms. If your walking around wear a towel or the robe, swim suits are optional the idea is to relax.
The locker room attendants can usually help with appointments and recommendations from -who to bet on the next game, to places to eat, go, see and the better massage therapists. (don't forget to drop them a couple bucks if they helped)
Speaking of massage don't be "forward" with your therapist it may end your massage prematurely, just tell them where you hurt, lay there and let them do their job. Really its that simple. If your looking for a little more "attention" the use the phone book in your room goto the entertainment section.
Saturdays are always busy so call ahead a week or two if you need a treatment at a certain time.
Hope this helps some
