Alright, this is probably out of left field but...

Lately I have been experiencing a strongly rekindled interested in Leonard Cohen and his work. He was always hot and still is a 72. And his songs are brilliant, not to mention his novels and volumes of poetry.

    Anyone else?

Let's see if this link works. If not you can search "joan of arc cohen" to see a pretty interesting performance. The singer doing the duet is Julie Christiansen.

Hallelujah is lyrically one of my favorite songs.

Many of his songs have been covered by avariety of artists. His voice can take some getting used to but, to me, it becomes part of the story he is telling. It suggests every cigarette, every loss, the search for meaning. His video of Halelujah is over the top, to my taste. But it's a great song that has captured the imagination of many.
