Hey, all! Question for condom pumpers:
It's happened more than a few times now, in a marathon pump session, where a condom is the resistance medium, after a couple of hours, the condom completely disintegrates. I'm going through at least (2) condoms per session, usually (3) if a six-hour session. I'm not using lube. The brand of condom is Trojan Magnum Bareskin, if that helps. These suckers aren't cheap, so appreciate the feedback. I'd be open to an alternative option of the same size, but it was a rough go to find these.

Thoughts?

I pump with a condom every now and then. I’m currently in a condom pumping phase and I can tell you that YES, they do disintegrate. The surface area of the “shaft” portion of the condom expands and eventually the matrix of the condom material fails. All you need is one tear and the entire condom comes apart.

The lighter and thinner the material… the more fragile the condom is. Heavier duty condoms are made of material that is sturdier and holds their strength as their matrix gets stretched.

The worst thing is that… the larger the condom… the thinner the material can be. We need large diameter condoms for pumping but they end up being expensive because of the failure rate.

Hi! I dont have an answer, just curious: why are you using condom while pumping? Whats the benefit?
Hey Echoes! Some people use condoms for hygiene, to collect the fluids generated from pumping, preserving the cleanliness of the tube and extending the line of the cylinder. There are also anecdotes that condom pumping prevents ingrown hairs.
For me, I pump to train vascularization of the shaft. Pumping places most pressures on the CC chambers, but i find, for me at least, the resistance provided by the condom allows for full shaft involvement at higher pressures. It's a bit of a workout. The result is a warm to hot shaft that heavy with full blood involvement and the little lymph fluid. Without the excess lymph fluids, areas normally blocked off are allowed to receive blood for growth.
There's a lot written on Newart's and Thunder's forums, if you get a moment. Happy Pumping!

Thank you, Tripod. There are some new, larger ones out there. I simply can't find anything over 70 microns thick. I'll try to experiment with silicone.

JBD recommends a non-latex. I'll try a small pack of those, too, but they are expensive.
