I have the opportunity to be in a scene (or more… who knows) of an adult movie…
No money involved, but it is a real deal… For me, it’s a wild side ego thing – not a career choice by any means… My issue is… identity.

Under no circumstances would I ever want my face shown and I can’t trust any “editor” to delete or cut a scene. There’s just no way, it’s not open for consideration!!! Do I just ditch the idea and say “oh well…” or propose something stupid like wearing a mask similar to what “White Pony” does… it could be black leather or something masculine.

As far as the “Scene” is concerned… I’m not too concerned about performing – if I blow, I could reload in about 2 mins and be good for an hour of full out pounding.

If your identity were an issue - would you take the risk?

 You can include all of these things in your contract.
If there's no contract, it isn't legit.

In adult entertainment, always assume there's no anonymity.

It depends on how much you want to do it. My advice it to go for it and wear a disguise like a fake mustache or beard, maybe a wig, glasses, etc.

Nobody will know its you unless they recognize your cock.

Go for it man!

Haven't gotten to that point...

Re: anonymity...Perhaps sunglasses and some sort of hat???????
You can do that.
Keep in mind, for 2257 compliance they will have to maintain a record of your real name, address, DOB, and a copy of two forms of ID on record, one photo, that can be requested. If you're involved with a good production company, they'll take steps to protect your identity, but even they can only do so to a point.

I'm more interested in knowing why there's no money involved?
I know of start ups and even some fetish sites that do not pay.
However strange it seems, money isn't always involved.

Shady is right. Once you sign the model release the pictures are theirs to do with what they wish. I did a photo shoot for a magazine 12 yrs ago. I had a verbal agreement that they wouldn't use my real name. The magazine lived up to that agreement however the owner died and the archieves were sold to another company and the pictures are still on the internet today. It turned out ok. It's helped my sex life alot.

A few things I found out when I did a porn video for a legitimate production company (for which I was paid, but it makes no difference):

1) There are only a few places in the USA where it is CLEARLY legal to film commercial adult movies-- The states of California and New Hampshire, and New York City (but not the rest of New York State)-- because of court decisions in these places. Although production does take place in other places (including a notable industry in Florida), persons engaged in adult production in these other places run the theoretical risk of prostitution, pandering, or similar charges. On the other hand, if the production is done discretely, there usually isn't an issue.

2) To protect themselves regarding various federal laws (including the dreaded 2257), the producer will require you to provide multiple forms of identification, as well as your actual name and address, which will be copied and kept on file forever. Note that various parties have the right to inspect these files. Goverment-issued photo ID is required- As I recall, they copied my driver's license and passport. Further, regardless of how you appear in the scene, they will probably want to take a mugshot of you in your street clothes, to prove you are the same person as the photo ID they put on file.

3) If the producer and editor are honest about your face not appearing in any of the scene, they will not object to you wearing a lone-ranger style face mask, since no one will see it in the final edit, and this will protect your anonymity in any outtake footage or still shots taken on the set. If they object, you know someting is wrong.

4) Although all this may sound risky, legitimate porn producers need to be discrete to survive, so there really isn't that much to worry about. But, beware any fly-by-night operators, because they may not respect your privacy.

In my case, there were so many pictures and video of me naked that were taken in public venues, appearing on various websites and even DVDs, that appearing in a video that I actually got paid for didn't make much difference, so I didn't worry at all.

The only way for sure that you don't get seen if it's POV movie. Because you'd be shooting the majority of the scene they have to focus on the girl.

You should be getting paid. You should not be doing anything for real with the producers making a major cut from your dick. Even though it's an just ego thing for you.

If my identity were an issue, no. I wouldn't do it. It's amazing what ends-up on the internet after zillions of assurances that it never would.
