It seems like in years past there were commercial for almost a year before a Presidential election. There were so many it seems like 2 years before an election there were non stop political commercials.

Now I don't see many at all.

^He's right, it depends on your state. If a candidate already has the support of a majority if your state they're not gonna bother advertising.

Plus, the internet has become America's diet of choice. Politicians are probably catching on that people pay more attention to blogs and sites than they do commercials so it's gettin' to be a waste of money.
