My religious feelings are personal. I don't discuss them because I respect others right to believe as they choose. Moreover in sharing my own experiences and feelings on the matter would disparage the views of others. I don't discuss religion at LPSG or anywhere else for that matter outside of my synagogue.
It's a very simple easy rule to live by, think of how differently the world would be if everyone followed the same example.
This comment puzzles me. Religion is supposed to be the whole basis of one's life. Why on earth would one's feelings about something so fundamental be kept constantly under wraps?
Surely, adults ought to be able to discuss starkly different world views. And I think it is extremely important to do exactly that.
