Just came back from the doctor. My BP meds worked a number on the snake & he gave me some Levitra samples as well as an RX.

Question is: How much are you paying for your Levitra in your part of the Country AND is your Insurance paying for it?

Please answer Location--Co$t--Insurance type (blue-cross, Humana...etc)

I'm not on Levitra, but I can tell you what I paid for the new one-a-day 5 mg Cialis. A card, with fifteen 5 mg Cialis tablets, cost me $76.00. With me, the effects of the five mg tablet lasts two-and-a-half to three days, but the effects are fast-fading on the third day. Cost per tablet is a bit over $5.00. I asked a pharmacist about the cost of the 10 mg tablet, and the price per tab was $20.13. He quoted me a price for a ten tab 10 mg prescription of over $200.00. It is no wonder that Lilly Pharmaceuticals can afford those "Always be ready" TV commercials in prime time. Blue Cross does not participate in payment, a least in my coverage, they don't.

My Bluecross plan (thru Tenn Access), makes mail-order prescriptions possible, using the Caremark Company. This allows a 3-month prescription for the price of one month. My plan offers a $100 maximum on prescriptions not in their "preferred drug list", so I have gotten the normal 24 20ML tablets (of Cialis) for that price. I imagine Levitra would be the same price.

But lately I have been able to show low income proof to various companies, thus acquiring free prescriptions, like Glaucoma eye drops, Singulair, and the statin Crestor.
One of those companies makes Viagra, so I may start getting it for free.

So, if you are poor, start googling the maufacturer for hardship applications. Takes about six weeks.

My medical coverage (Blue Cross Blue Shield and Caremark) allows for a 3 month supply of Livitra at 4 pills per month. As a result whenever I go to my urologist or primary care physician I ask for samples, which they are very glad to give me.

I guess they don't want us guys with an erectile dysfunction to have a good time. For that reason i have invested in a cock ring which also helps.

Well the 10mg samples the Dr gave me only gave me half-wood. Is it safe to take two pills?

hey fern....same here guy...a 10 is a waste of a time on me....i always take a 20 mg...but note more slight side effects...dizzy/flushed/slight headache....i generally take a few tylenol right before or after to prevent the headache...when i decided to try these drugs...my doc says....if i am healthy enough to climb 2 flights of stairs i am helathy enough to take LEVITRA...

I didn't have any side effects at all with 10mg. no headache, no dizziness, no flushing, no vision problems, no backache & only half a woodpile. I'll try 20 mg and see how that works. If that doesnt work I dont know what the hell I'll do next. This is getting worrysome.

Fern...if u got halfwood...i suspect u will get HARDWOOD...w/20 mg....which is the reccomended dose......might try Viagra...seems to work better for me...100mg..shorter lasting effect....but just as hardwood..no side efffects at all for me....do not give up...i think it is worth the effort......................VIVA VIAGRA........

20mg worked great!!! My cock is back again. It didn't take much stimulation to get me to full hardness & I was able to keep my woody a long time. Even after I came I recovered fast several times.
Side effects were flushing of my face & ears which really isnt a big problem. I feel like a man again!!!

Finally got around to calling pharmacies to price the Rx (yup, almost out of samples, Damn he gave me alot).
Baton Rouge area is averaging about $18 a pill for 20mg Levitra & my bluecross wont pay a cent.

Well worth the price in my opinion.

Most medical insurance companies and HMO's do not cover ED medications. I was under two different medical plans based on changing company medical insurance. Not only would United Health Care not cover the meds themselves, after 6 months trying to get a referral for the problem I was still waiting. I ended up at Boston Med out of my own pocket. In California before the insurance change we had Health Net. Neither one of these would do squat on ED issues. Out of couriosity this may be an intersting thread to expand on to find out who IS covering ED and the related medications. I still pay for all of mine out of pocket....

Per pill in California and New Mexico the last orals I paid for were about $10 per pill. There are several on line sources that friends are using that have served them well for a whole lot less.
