For those of you that are lgbtq+ cinephile. I have been trying to remember a movie I saw back in the late 90's in Showcase (they use to have Friday nights gay movie in the evening). Anyways, there was a scene in this movie where a new Albanian man was conversing with the guy he had thought to be gay and he made a comment about he doesn't mind or if he wanted to suck him off, he was ok with it.

This was the only scene that stuck in my head and I have been trying to figure out the movie title for the longest time. Hope someone out there would know something. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the reply but I don't think so. The Marriage is much newer, I remember that movie from TIFF. The movie I'm talking about is much older, at least 90's but likely older. And the backdrop might have something to do with war but I honestly can't recall fully.

hey sorry to bother but ive been looking for this dumb movie for so damn long from what i remember its starts of with a boy playing a boyfriends board game with his girl friends and the whole point of the game is to who what kinda guy youll end up with , fast forward guy has a horrible dating life because he’s afraid commitment and breaks up with his most recent boyfriend and moves back in with his ex , starts dating again and everything is going weird and he meets a real estate twink that he started hooking up with and for some reason a big plot in the movie is that when theyre hooking up they use floor buffers/waxers and at the end he ends up with his roommate/ex

the tittle is somehow like “(guys name)’s horrible or weird dating life”
it couldve also been a porno im not sure i seen it the first time on youtube and then seen the title somewhere on imdb but accidentally refreshed before i pressed it

It is based on a book by alan hollinghurst and starred the gentleman who played Matthew on Downton Abbey

Yes! Did a couple months back. It's not as good as that director's other works, I marathoned a bunch of his movies, including Horseplay, Plan B, Ausente, Taekwondo, Un Rubio, and Hawaii, my favorite was Un Rubio (The Blonde One)
