My partner & I have been together for 10.5 years & very rarely do we have outward public displays of affection. Mostly it's due to his paranoia. When we are in a gay setting or in Wilton Manors (a very gay suburb) we'll be more apt to holding hands or kissing in public.
Two weeks ago, I caught myself stroking my boy's back in the grocery store & he didn't protest. Thankfully we were in the Wilton Manors store & it's more likely that you'll find two men holding hands there than anywhere else in town.
