From "Don't eat yellow snow" to "Treat your loved ones like it will be their last day b/c you never know when it will be" what are some of your favorite lessons that you've learned in life?

Kool-aid powder is /not/ the same stuff as Pixy Stix.

Never stick your finger in either end of the doggy.

Playing catch with your baby brother -- good idea. Playing catch with your baby brother -- bad idea.

Here they are, from songs no less:

"You don't know what you've got til the love is almost gone"
"I say a lot of things sometimes that don't come out right and act like I don't know why"
"It's funny how life can change, you never know until you walk away"
    "Love hurts, love heals"

Also just tell someone how you feel asap, any later and they might not be there.
Depression/feeling low helps with writing (only writing depressing things though hehe)
You have to make things happen for you, not let them happen to you ;)
If it was meant to be you were meant to know it
If you eat too much, you get fat :D

The long road home is the best way.

You catch more flies with sugar that you do with shit.

Don't burn any bridges, you never know who you may have to beg bread from.

    Al's three laws

1 If you keep doing something or other long enough, you're bound to get cancer of the something or other.

2 If you put a Jew and a Catholic together, the Catholic will naturally become the straight man.

    3. Anyone who is as self righteous as that (fill in the name of a chosen self-righteous prig) is never clean.

You may be done with the past, but the past is not done with you.

Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer

Banjax: 42... The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which I am most pleased to hear has finally been made into a film...

    Life's little lessons... Hmmm.

The customer is always right, except when they're wrong. Which is frequently.

Always wear clean underwear because if you were to be knocked down and killed by a bus and found to be wearing unsatisfactory undergarments, you'd die of shame...

Never trust a dog with orange eyebrows.

London's nice to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.

I could go on, but it's probably best not to...

Nice to know that in addition to my age, 42 is the answer to the questions that have been plaguing mankind.....

Did I ever mention that the Aztec calandar ENDS on the date of my 50th birthday? I'm going to have a huge "End Of The World" party in 8 years!

Mayan, and it doesn't any more than the Gregorian calendar ends on December 31. It has to do with precession. (Either that or the orbit of Sedna.)
