Lingerie gift

Ok ladies I'm reaching out for opinions. Let me give a little background information. My girlfriend is not flashy. Wears no makeup and really doesn't need to. Naturally pretty first thing in the morning. She hardly owns any jewelry. She is just not into fancy things or expensive things. She owns more sports bras and sweat pants than nice pocketbooks. That's not to say that when we go out for a nice night she is sporting Nike apparel and a baseball cap (although I wouldn't mind). She plays the part when needed and does it beautifully. Dresses professionally for work and I guess has a shoe obsession Bc she owns a zillion pairs. Anyway, these things are just a few of the many reasons I love her so much. Complete opposite from my ex wife who had to have $2000 handbags and giant diamond earrings.
So my question is this. Am I risking hurting her feelings by buying her some stuff? Making her feel like I'm not attracted to her and what she wears? She owns no "sexy" lingerie. I say sexy in parenthesis Bc I find her sports bra sexy. Just not her thing I suppose. However, it would be a turn on for me to see her in something different. I could never see her at Victoria secret buying a risqué outfit, so part of me thinks it's not good idea.
Buy it for her?
Ask her if she wants some?
Gift vertificate?
Kind of at a loss. Having no closure or solution to this problem wouldn't cost me an ounce of sleep btw. Just reaching out for opinions.

I have no idea if it would hurt her feelings or not. Best bet would be to flat out ask her if she would mind you buying her some things, just for fun/because variety is the spice o life.

Thanks for the reply. Of course....I should be the best judge of her feelings getting hurt or not being she is my girlfriend. No one size fits all solution when it comes to individual emotions.

You could get her something that is kind of understated but sexy. My first real foray into lingerie was a little cami and short set from Victoria’s Secret that I got from a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day. Surprisingly he didn’t pick the corset and thigh highs, so he must have had help from the sales lady. Since then I’ve gotten into much more risqué stuff. That cami set was like my gateway drug. LOL

I’d go shopping with her. Just hit the mall and wander into VS, see if she lets you buy her something. Just be careful because lingerie can become addicting. I never used to like it, then I got one piece and now I have a huge collection of bras, corsets, nighties, and pjs. I can’t remember the last time I slept in a t-shirt. I don’t even need a partner to but them, I just love the feeling it gives me.

I'd agree with the advice given so far. I especially like the sexy cami/booty shorts suggestion and idea to go shopping with her.

I'll add that I have very few Victoria's Secret bras, and almost all were given as gifts. I SWEAR I am in-between both cup and band sizes with that brand, and they rarely have the size that's closest in the store. That may be her issue, too.

That could be. She hates shopping for bikinis Bc she can never find ones she likes that fit her.
