Hey guys...looking for advice/thoughts on showering...
If you're a bit of a perv like me and end up seeing someone you like regularly, if I choose the shower head next to his (there's 9 in the open showers where I go at Aqualink) - and we've been exchanging a few glances in previous shower times (and a smile getting out of the spa), could I get away with it without scaring him off ?
Generally we've both been there when it's fairly busy (and for some reason, the same dad and his kid end up in there most of the time - just coincidental).

You could try striking up a conversation with him, asking him what he thinks of the place since you see him there often etc.
That way it feels more natural standing right next to someone in the showers.
I think you could move slowly since you see each other regularly. Pick the shower thats in his line of sight but not right next to his. If he's keen or doesn't mind, he'll probably do the same. Otherwise a friendly conversation is a good idea.

I've been to Reservoir Leisure centre a few times lately, open showers but not much going on
There’s a few pools in the north east that I’m yet to determine have open showers. Any insights? I have a map (if you haven’t heard, lol) so let us know

The others I’m not sure of are the Yarra Plenty Swim Club, Ivanhoe Aquatic, Olympic Leisure Banyule (recently reopened), Fawkner Leisure Centre, and Thomastown Rec & Aquatic. If you’re close to any and can check in, that would be great - they’re so far from me out in the east unfortunately
What's everyone's experience on the Kilsyth pools ? I used to live in the area, and never went to them - open showers, what kind of crowd, etc ?
Usually very quiet, unlikely to see someone else in the showers from my experience. They are open, four shower heads and no time limit. Awesome set up. It is getting warmer though, so I suspect it’s probably going to start getting busier. Age range there can vary, sometimes older sometimes younger. I’m in my 20s, but have seen 30s and 40s there too
Good to know / also thinking of going to hawthorn and the Japanese onsen.
Would love to try Grand Hyatt but too expensive for membership and no casual.
