I use squirt too - it's good for listings. not so hot on stamping out trolling though.

The West Side YMCA in NYC has two communal showers, also a nice sized steam room and a sauna... just went for the first time, was great

How was the crowd - older/younger, fit/not, hung?
Communal shower as in fully open with shower heads along the outer walls and no doors or curtains? How about the poles in the center of the room setup?
How much is a day pass?
crowd is older, way older for the most part, but not all, two fully open shower rooms, you can get a free day pass to check it out, just send an email on their webpage
a variety of bodies and dick sizes... but friendly and older definitely
You get three free day passes every year at that location. You just have to ask for one in the checkin line on the left and fill out a form if you haven’t been before to get in their system. The crowd varies a lot at that location, though. Some super old guys go there. But I’ve also hooked up with hot guys there too (some from Broadway shows).
Anyone tried the buchanan ymca in sf? Heard it may still have communal showers but isn't on the drive list. I recently joined the Y but not sure it's worth the drive. I just want to be naked amongst other dudes & maybe cruise in SF for the first time. Any ideas?

Anyone know of any open showers and saunas/steamrooms on long island?
So there’s two gyms I’ve been to in the city that both had partitions between each shower but no doors or curtains in the stalls:
1. LA Fitness on Diversey and Clark- Been there only twice.
2. Lakeview YMCA- Went there in 2008. So I don’t know if the showers have been remodeled or not
I‘Ve been to this one...I’ve never remotely seen any “fun” behavior in any of these rooms, unfortunately.
