Busted for credit card fraud, Dennis (Marcel Schultt) gets sent to a facility where the name of the game is either to give in to the drug dealers or run the risk of getting raped. From his cell window, he spots a fellow prisoner (Mike Sale) and immediately falls in love with him. Though their first encounters are tentative, a passionate romance develops as prison life unfolds. LOCKED UP reveals bizarre characters (a gay guard who enjoy watching the lovers in their private moments) and painful prison bureaucracy that shows how inmates negotiate with prison guards their time together.
