DJM277: I have been going to the local Y lately.They don't have communal showers but individual stall with curtains.The boy's lockerroom goes up until the age 19 where as men is 20 and up.They way it is design it weird in that if you are swimming you have to enter part of the men's shower area/suana/bathroom which is sealed off from the men lockerroom.So there is an additional doorway to go through to get to the showers kind of like a hallway.I notice most guys like myself will walk over bare ass with the towel in front.I also notice guys just throwing thier jocks and underwaer on the floor and walking to the showers.On friday I notice it was busier than usual and most guys were stripping down to shower in the lockerroom.I noticed several guys checking out my equipment and rather than turn away I just allowed the view.I think it is very natural for guys to size each other up and has little to do with a person's sexuality.I also notice there is definately more of a comradity between guywhen they are nude.

AOX3: This is a funny story, this past summer, I took my family up to the carolina mountains for vacation and in the process we white water rafted four rivers. I know what you mean. So far there has only been one person that I took true pleasure in "humbling" in this way. This was a guy who lived in my freshman year college dorm.
