London gym's .. good for showing off?

    Any recommendations for good gym's in London? Prefer old fashioned ones, just good gym equipment, gang showers, sauna and steam - not all fancy and prissy like they seem to be these days!

    Oasis Centre looks ok - anyone know it?

    I've worked out at the Central Y for years and made many friends there. Good location, probably a bit pricey (I go on my reciprocal membership), but simple, extensive facilities and large, somewhat cruisy shower area and changing room. Cafe area is great for that post-shower rendezvous with the guy(s) you made eye contact with... :biggrin1:
