I don't know if he's real or not... I'm mean, in porn these days, "real" can mean a variety of things. Is he real in that he actually attempts to shoot porn? I mean, everyone these days produces porn... anyone with a camera thinks that they are a porn director. Is he "real" in the sense that he actually produces porn for a living, works with established talent agents and known female talent, PAYS THE TALENT FOR THEIR WORK, and actually distributes it via dvd and/or established websites... doubtful imho.

Here's the red flags:

-18-25 age requirement (common in gay porn... NOT in straight porn)
-LIVES IN THE MIDWEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no female talent even lives anywhere outside of L.A., Miami or sometimes Vegas.)
-Willing to "try" unproven male talent. Porn doesn't work like that, b/c production costs are too high. UNLESS he is truly an amateur himself, and this is small fry stuff (like living in the Midwest for example).

My opinion comes from working in porn myself as male talent. I've done scenes with several L.A. Direct girls, including Amy Brooke and others. I've also worked with Ariella Fererra, Goldie Star and a number of newer girls. Yes, I live in L.A., and yes L.A. is where 95% of porn is shot. It has the infastructure, which is necessary for any large scale operation.

For a "producer" with such exacting standards, you seem to have forgotten the criteria you laid out in your OP. Strange slip-up:


I know a few people attached to the adult film industry, which is based primarily in California, mainly southern California. A few observations:

1.) To my knowledge, women performing in porn as a general rule don't have that big a say in the casting or refusal of their male "co-stars". Performers who are that picky don't get that much work or make much money.

2.) From what I know, it's not that hard to find male "talent" for porn productions.

3.) I wasn't aware there was a thriving adult film industry in the "Midwest", Springfield, IL to be exact.
Could you tell us more about that? I'm very interested.

4.) I notice you keep bumping your thread, because you've been unable to secure the right "talent" for your project. You must be on a very relaxed production schedule to be able to wait for the perfect stud to appear.

5.) Are you sure you're not just a "100% straight" pic collector posing as a porn producer who has established a very specific set of criteria for the contacts he wants to make and images he wants to see, namely young, fit, goodlooking guys with big wangs? It sure seems that way. p.s. I checked your post history. :wink:

a) I am 100% straight. I have no interest in pic collecting
b) I could give a fuck less who you think you know in the porn industry... my AVN award speaks for itself. I've been making porn for over 9 years.
c) I'm not waiting for a stud from this thread to shoot my scenes dipshit.
I shoot 4/week on average and not a one has come from LPSG.

I thought maybe, just maybe, I could find some good male talent here.
