Hi everyone. Having passed the 50 barrier in good shape, I still have to be concerned about the soft-to-hard issue. Several of my friends are already having problems, and it's scary to see how it's affecting them. I was thinking that in order to keep my equipment in good working order, maybe I should add a little high octane gasoline to my beer.

Welcome fellow Canadian. The beer can't hurt...if you're not drinking that watered down American stuff!
Maybe it's the cold that does us in....here in Hong Kong they don't seem to have that problem. My father was 69 when I was conceived, so I'm hoping I have his genes. So far so good at 45!
