Wondering if any of you other guys in your late 40s have had a substantial loss of libido. This is new to me. I never really realized it was happening until I found myself doing laundry weekly and realizing I didn't use my cum rag this week. I find I'm not jerking off weekly. I haven't had sex in 1.5 years (yes I'm single). I'm just not sure what to do about it. This cant be right. Been to the doctors and blood work, T-levels are all fine. Not overweight. I do have some belly fat I'm fighting and now watching what I eat closely. I do feel like my my dick and testicles are shrinking but doctor says it in my mind. But i know its not. I can see it.

I don't know. Is this the new norm?

If you T levels are fine then I would say you have just grown to accept you current level of arousal. Try getting back in the game, find a buddy or start stroking again. Enjoy yourself!
Yea, maybe. I guess sexual complacency could be a "thing".

If your T levels were checked and are good then you should be fine, that's wat happened to me mine dropped real low and it was a noticeable difference but you should be good. could just be a change in habits, busy with life and different priority's. I'm the opposite my sex drive interferes with my life and work. kind of a pain. Make a point to spend some play time with yourself!

My T levels have been low at times and then i get retested and they are fine. So no need to supplement with anything yet. It might just be "life" at my age and figuring out a new routine.

You have a nice cock! play with it and make yourself happy like only you know how. Not sure your age but that does have an impact on things too. We really should be PM about this not in public! lol oh well.

T levels do fluctuate throughout the day....perhaps you need a HIIT workout routine to give you a boost and get you back on track.

If tippy address not physically active regularly that can have an affect. If you have a gym membership lift weights, fo cardio. Not only will it hyslop with testosterone it will increase your libido and you'll start to see the belly fat gradually shrink.

O don't forget to jack off, that'll keep your dick happy.

I cant say things have improved much. Libido is about the same if not slightly worse. I have another physical next month to check my T levels again. But I suspect they'll be fine. Last 6 months have been stressful with health and family issues..so I haven't even attempted to find anyone to try to hookup with. So now I'm at the 2 year mark since the last time I messed around with anyone. I guess that doesn't help either. Maybe the old "use or lose it" mantra is true!

Sorry to hear that man. Good that your doctor is checking your health. Stress is a terrible issue.
Dont give up. I wrote these to a friend, maybe it will help you a bit as well.

1) Eat and sleep well (drink less alcohol - quit if you smoke)
2) Work out (especially leg press and lunges with dumbbells really help for the next day)
3) Get some sunshine
4) Drink moderate amount of coffee or green tea
5) Eat bananas, peanuts, strawberries, hazelnuts ...
4) You can take ZMA (zinc, magnesium, b6 vitamin) before you go to bed
5) Korean Ginseng helped me with the erection, some people say l-arginine helps too (always consult with your doctor about supplements)
6) Take a walk with your wife.
7) Try something that relaxes you - vacation, watching a match, sit-coms etc...
8) Maca root (precum), Horny Goat Weed helps with libido they say but of course consult your doc first.

Let us know again, sending you a big hug!

It could just be that your focus has been on other things at this point in your life. Libido is highly affected by your psychological state - this is almost useless advice, but I would say, relax and don't waste your time worrying too much about it. Assuming you're in good physical health, sex drive will return when and where you least expect it.

Just because your levels are "normal" doesn't mean they are high enough for you. If they are staying in the bottom of the range and dropping below, at times, you're not going to have a very strong sex drive.
As a man who has testosterone issues I can tell you that you will feel a lot better if they are up in the mid range. When mine gets down in the low 300's and high 200's my sex drive tanks. If there's no desire then there is going to be a slowing down in your sex life for sure. Good luck finding what's best for you

But the question is how do you get them back high again? Mine are hovering right above the low normal. I know its too low for someone my age but doctors wont do anything about it if its in their "range". Ive tried this food stuff but doesn't seem to help much.

Eat healthy and get enough sleep.

For some reason when I started exercising and toning up more, all I could think about sometimes was fucking or having sweaty animalistic sex. I'd be in my introverted state and see someone walk by interesting and think to myself how I'd love to fuck them in all kinds of freaky ways.

Oysters are said to make you hornier as they are considered an aphrodisiac. I don't eat oysters but that's what the science world says.

So maybe it's eat a healthy balanced diet, get ample rest, plenty of confidence boosting and blood rushing exercise and you'll be waiting to get your dick wet as soon as possible...

Who knows?:no_mouth:

Maybe you need to find some kinkier things to get into that may excite you??

Working out really helps! I was not feeling energetic the other day and today I went to the gym, after a couple of hours I feel horny! :) I regularly do exercise but even if I skip for 3-4 days, I don't feel that energetic but after you walk 20 min, do some walking lunges and stuff you feel so good later in the day.

As for the oysters, they have zinc which is known to increase your testosterone levels if they are low. Zinc-rich foods may help.

Wishing all of you health, lots of sex, lots of libido, and good times! :)

I'm 70s now and still have an active sex life, but my sex drive does vary. Sometimes I fuck two guys a week, sometimes it's nothing for a couple of months.
