I was wondering if its safe to put lotion on your penis/balls after a wash?
I'm uncircumcised and the skin on my penis seems more "tight" and rubbery when its newly washed, and it doesn't feel as good.
I have been using lotion for some time now, and it makes it feel so much softer and better.

But someone told me the skin on your penis is really sensitive to chemicals like the stuff in lotions and might be dangerous to it
Is this true? :frown1:

Just like any other skin, it all depends on you, and how you react in particular to what you're putting on it...

Now, I wouldn't go smothering it in deep heat for example, but if you've been using something for quite some time and have noted no ill effects, then it is pretty safe to assume it's fine.

I'm uncut too and have been using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for years. Get the cream in the jar not the lotion. Makes your dick as soft as a baby's butt.

Cocoa butter baby oil then cocoa butter lotion. Works wonders.

P.S. Cetaphil had no perfumes and is odorless. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist because it doesn't irritate skin.

If you've been using something with no problem just continue. I use Aveeno (by the gallon, all over my body, in the Winter!!) with no issues, and have no intent of stopping.

It really comes down to your personal preference and your skin sensitivity. I personally am very sensitive to certain chemicals and have no desire to smell like an Avon representative. Like one person said above, if you are using something that works, keep using it.

Just stick to a lotion that is safe for your skin; as in don't buy cheap stuff. Buy something that is well-priced, reputable for skin care, are low on perfume. If it stings, you probably shouldn't use it. You can also try coconut or olive oil; these are good for skin.

I use vaseline petroleum jelly on my wet penis right from the shower. Massaging in a nice, thick coat really locks in the moisture and makes the skin soft.

I would use the most natural product that is on the market with no added chemicals. No parabens etc. If I were you I'd use the most purest form of shea butter or cocoa butter.

Ps. Sound out petroleum jelly. Now ask yourself "should I really put petroleum on my penis?"

olive oil is great for the skin on the entire penis

Well, i masturbate with olive oil  it sounded weird to me at first, but its supper slippery, lasts long, no smell and much cheaper then lube :biggrin1:. I really recommend people go out and purchase it . But i don't think its a good idea to use it with toys or condoms.

So might just rub my penis with some of that after washing

You might look into Vitamin E oil too. I sometimes use it to jerk off. Real nice and slippery. Just a small amount will do for moisturizing. It has no smell either.
