But it wasn't a matter of impotence. Rather, the king's royal endowment and the queen's narrow aperture made both avoid sexual intercourse because it was painful....

::) Mais il n'était pas impotent !!! He was not an impotent, ma foi, LOL, because he had descendents: 4 kids : Louis XVII (murdered by Jacobins in 1792 in the Temple prison), Francois-Joseph (died May 1789) and 2 girls.

His problem was also related to the "frénum scrotal", as revealed by a Spanish doctor commissioned to take care of this highly embarrassing royal problem (see Stefan Zweig's "Marie-Antoinette" novel, based upon reality issues). That is why the first sexual contact between Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette took place only 10 years after their marriage, in 1777 and a girl was born in 1778.

This phrase, though (from the article) is funny: Newly revealed, intimate medical details about the marriage of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette are putting a new slant on the causes of the French Revolution. Now... the Penis-Revolution, what about that ??, LOL
