So I got my lab results the other day

and it's only at 289ng/dl

and there will be making a referral with a urologist.

How can I improve my chances of actually getting TRT from the urologist?

I guess it being low explains why i have trouble getting hard etc..
Can't build muscles along with other problems

Everything else came back very good to excellent

The chances are good that you're urologist will prescribe you TRT. There is a huge difference in what is normal for testosterone and what is optimal. Your Dr. will not talk about what is optimal. The normal range is 240 - 950, 300 - 1000.

Either way there is a big gap as to what is normal by 700. You'll have to decide what is optimal.

Also if you'll get plenty of exercise, rest, and eat well, you'll notice a big difference.

Yeaeh i'll probably get a gym membership.
You could request being referred to a urologist who is open to the idea of TRT. In general, it has become far less controversial than it used to be.
that's good i'm Tired of being tired.

Hopefully you get a competent doctor who knows what he's doing. I've had the worst luck with doctors for my TRT. At age 25 I had labs come back at 81 ng/dl six years ago. That's low for a 90 year old man! But my doctor was crap, prescribing very low dosages, saying I should be happy it came in at 400. Treating the numbers not the patient who felt marginal increases.

Also, not sure if your priapism episodes might caution the doctors. Just saying.
