Shit! My house looks like a crack den compared to both of your cribs...

YourAvgGuy, that house is fucking mental! Perfect place to film a porn movie. Not my style, but I respect your mad decoration skills. I think your staircase is bigger than my entire appartment. Meanwhile, my piece of crap appartment looks like it was decorated by a blind retard. Most of the lightbulbs are out, some blinds are broken and I've already mentioned the horrible tiles and the wallpaper....

Fuck that, I'm not posting pics of my crackhouse, it would just be embarrassing. :frown1:

Awww don't be sad about it. You are still young and starting out. It is more important for you to be safe and have what you need than to be in debt. Plus, if you get married, she'll probably throw all your stuff out. I've noticed wives tend to do that a lot.

I've got no baby, so I don't have a crib. Why would anyone get so excited about looking at a baby bed, anyway?

I play cribbage, does that count?

Both crib pics that were posted up are AWESOME. Snoozan, your taste is exactly how I envision my "dream house" looking. I love your bedroom (or guest room) with the divided area for the sofa, how sweet! And YAG, I remember seeing your pics way back when, nothing's changed, still a fucking "to die for" home.

Now, I know this is very tacky and rude, but I never claimed to be a class act  . Where do the two of you work and what do your spouses do? Are you in an incredible amount of debt to the point you live on pork and beans? I need to know HOW people have homes and things like this and manage to still eat and clothe themselves. As a full time working college student, I need to know where to steer my earning possiblities :biggrin1: !!

Dude, I am married and my wife and I like "traditional" look. Personally, however, I would like to change up to sleek and contempary but I doubt that would happen.

If I were a single bachelor, I would be sporting a bachelor pad. Trust.

Well, regardless, it looks fantastic. Congratulate your wife for me.

Yet another reason not to get married. BTW, though: my house is a tiny shithole and I'm completely broke. This bites. :worried:

VERY good question CG, I was wondering the exact same thing.

Thank you and yes, that is our home. My wife is extremely "anal" and neat. Everything has its place. We do have some mags and books lying around, not sure if you can see them in the photos. She is in a couple of them taking pics... Actually, we took those pics for insurance purposes, too.

As for cleaning... I can give you her phone number and you can call her!

I have a neighbor who is similar to your wife. She's taken her talents and made them into a business by staging and decorating homes that are up for sale. Her home is amazing and she did all the work herself. I'm impressed.

Please do give me her number, we're moving and I need serious HELP!!!

Actually, my husband and I are moving for a lot of the reasons you've stated. We have too much debt, not enough flexibility, and a toddler who makes having a 3-story home that was designed for entertaining completely unliveable. Compared to YAG, our house is very modest, but we can't keep up with it.

So, we're putting the house up for sale and moving into an apartment closer to wear my husband works, and are going to live more simply for a few years and use the profits from our home sale to pay off bills and start some investing. Though I'll miss my house, I am kind of relieved knowing that I won't have the burden of trying to keep up with work, a baby, and a huge house where we only use about 1/3rd of the liveable space.

I do not know how to attach photo's in the body of this message so I added mine in the gallery. These are some of the pics I had up the first time, but not all of them.

Nice place! I love the breakfast nook area, especially the staircase.

My 18 y/o condo is very humble compared to what's been shown so far. Its best feature is the view of Halifax river and Daytona peninsula. I attached a pic at sunrise and sunset.

Here some pics of my house.

For some reason, all my interior pics are from Christmastime.

The brickwork design on the front is awesome, Prep. I love it.

YAG, my jaw dropped. Your home is beautiful and the stairways give it such character.

Here's a pic of me in my den. Austere but good for production.

I knew when I finally saw a pic of you I'd go ape.

I love the entryway and all of your artwork. Very cool.

That's a gorgeous house. I love the brick and the style.

Photos of an office addition to my home now under construction:

I like the color on the walls, and the floors are really nice.
