Nothing to stop you now.

I sometimes use my PDA or phone. LPSG isn't optimsed for small screens but it's a simple enough site to work anyway.

What on earth does pwn mean...?

I've logged on from my Pocket PC phone a few times. Things are small, but it works fine. Considering my phone does everything and IPhone does, has DSL speed downloads and was quite a bit cheaper, I'm not in any hurry to get one just for as lightly larger screen. Their version of the web browser would be nice, though.

I'm not sure how a mobile LPSG site would 'pwn' anything based on those definitions.

'Pwn' is used very loosely.
I think DJG means the mobile phones/ iphones/ blackberrys would achieve some kind of victory by successfully downloading the site ... so they would 'pwn' the site, or something.
That guy, and he's a great guy, is, erm, creative.

Thanks....

Well, own or "pwn" can also just mean that something is 'cool' or great. I think that's how DJG meant it. Read his last line as saying 'That would be great!' instead.

I know, the intent was plain enough from the context. I suppose with many 'social' acronyms, the meaning is somewhat...fluid.

Maybe it's just that simple.
By the way, agnslz, how do you pronounce 'pwn'?
Mr. Rubi I am sorry not to have answered you earlier! There was a thunderstorm here and I hightailed it off the computer after I made my last post to this thread, since lightning was striking a little too close for comfort. I pronounce pwn as "pwone" and pwned as "pwoned". I hope my pronunciation comes across in those spellings!
