I think it was optional in the past. I vaguely recall my age being up at one time, but I might be thinking of my profile on a different site/forum.

EDIT: In the 'Personal Details' on your account page, you can choose to show the day and month of your birth. And even the year if you wish.

Not sure too many would put their age or at least honest about it.. So many don,t even put up pictures let alone age. At least many put where they are from which is nice to see. Agree, also surprised by this poll....thought more would be of an older generation like me - 68
