It's your day, sweetcheeks. :biggrin1:

This is for one of the most delightful men on the site, DaveyR. I see his avatar and it makes me smile. Can't help myself. Please post questions but know he will not be able to answer until tomorrow afternoon.

The first questions: How did you discover LPSG, D? What did you think?

4. Is sex (quality of and quantity) a great indicator of a successful relationship?

5. What is your favorite meal? Alcoholic beverage? Dessert?

Shearer, Keagan or MacDonald? (I'm too young for Millburn)

Weirdest (to foreigners) Geordie expression?

What do you miss about the UK?

Did you ever have sexual contact with women?

Favourite meal of the day?

Favourite type of view?

Do you read much?

If so, what?

What don't you like about people, men or women, gay or straight?

I think you would have been a great Dad. Are you? If not, do you wish you could have been? Please don't involve Marley's ass womb in the reply.

Are Southerners softies?

Do you have coloured toilet roll?

If you could have chosen anyone to have been Prime Minister ever, who would it have been?

How do you eat Jelly Babies?

How much money would it have taken for you to go down on Margaret Thatcher?

Davey

Have you ever been inspired by a book or film? If so, what is it?

Is there a food or special dish that reminds you of home and your childhood?

Will you be selecting a relatively new poster, or one that you do not know well, for the next spotlight?

The first questions: How did you discover LPSG, D? What did you think?

I saw THAT programme on TV and Googled Jonah Falcon. The first result brought me here and here I still am :biggrin1:

Dear DaVeYR

1. What are some things that you are totally passionate about?

I hate unfairness and prejudice of any kind

2. Has any of your realized fantasies ever became a living nightmares? Name a few.

One recent and very much a nightmare but 'm sorry I can't share it here.

3. Have you ever selfishly abandoned someone?

No.

4. Is sex (quality of and quantity) a great indicator of a successful relationship?

Not an indicator as such but part of the overall package of a relationship.

5. What is your favorite meal? Alcoholic beverage? Dessert?

Fillet steak, MaCallan 18 year Old whisky, blackberry crumble with ice cream.

6. Are you a spiritual person? If so, how are you spiritual?

Not very. I believe that people make there own fate by their actions and positive thinking or lack thereof.

7. What does the world need now?

I really wish I could answer that but to be honest I do not know.

8. If there were no such thing as homophobia and competitiveness, do you believe that men would be at ease with themselves?

Unfortunately not as organised Religion would be still there to get in the way.

9. If the world had a reset button and it was in your possession: Six months ago to present, how many times would you have pushed THAT button?

I wouldn't everything that happens needs to happen and will cause a consequence which all works out for the best in the end IMHO.

10. What is one thing that makes you happy?

Every aspect of my relationship:biggrin1:

Shearer, Keagan or MacDonald? (I'm too young for Millburn) Shearer

Weirdest (to foreigners) Geordie expression? Chalking on the bleezer - ie not speaking :biggrin1:

What do you miss about the UK? Only people nothing else

Did you ever have sexual contact with women? Yes I was engaged twice and lived with the second one for almost 2 years.

Favourite meal of the day? Dinner

Favourite type of view? Sea views and city skylines

Do you read much? Not as much as I used to.

If so, what? Non fiction and biographies.

What don't you like about people, men or women, gay or straight?

Selfishness and lack of consideration for others

I think you would have been a great Dad. Are you? If not, do you wish you could have been? Please don't involve Marley's ass womb in the reply.

No I'm not. The second woman I was engaged to had 3 kids and I got on great with them. 2 of them are in touch to this day and we are great friends.

Are Southerners softies?

No more than it is grim up North

Do you have coloured toilet roll?

Never - plain white

If you could have chosen anyone to have been Prime Minister ever, who would it have been?

Drifterwood

How do you eat Jelly Babies?

Not for years. Never seen them out here

How much money would it have taken for you to go down on Margaret Thatcher?

No amount of money would have made me do that :frown1:

Davey

Have you ever been inspired by a book or film? If so, what is it?

None that springs immediately to mind

Is there a food or special dish that reminds you of home and your childhood? Mince tatties and dumplings which my Grandmother always made.

Will you be selecting a relatively new poster, or one that you do not know well, for the next spotlight?

I probably will yes.

Stay on topic.

Davey - As a fellow ex-pat (all be it from different pats ) do you agree that visiting 'home' is nicer than living there?

Do you and P hang out with other Anglophones or with Espagnophones :)confused:) or both? (Or neither?)

Do you swim often? (I miss the sea so much :frown:)

Who is your favourite muppet? (other than Piggy, of course )

Hovis or Kingsmill?

We've only been back to the UK once in 3 years and could not wait to come home. So I find visiting no nicer than living there except that you leave at the end of a set period.

Do you and P hang out with other Anglophones or with Espagnophones :)confused:) or both? (Or neither?)

Mainly other expats but we are increasingly mixing with Canarians which greatly helps my Spanish. Paul's Spanish is still restricted to a few kep words.

Do you swim often? (I miss the sea so much :frown:)

Almost ever day. At least 50 lengths of the pool.

Who is your favourite muppet? (other than Piggy, of course )

I honestly never watched it so the only other I know is Kermit.

Hovis or Kingsmill?

Kingsmill

DaveyR, one of my favourite posters at this crazy old cock-site, and a calming influence amid the maelstrom of foolishness. Here are your ten questions, which could lead you onto the next round, where you'll have the chance of winning a beautiful lounge suite.

1) Nipples are a prominent feature on your current LPSG photo. Are you a 'nipple man'?

2) How often have you ascended Mount Teide right to the summit?

3) Have you ever indulged in 'armpit sex'?

4) What do you feel has been your finest hour at LPSG?

5) Eating Marmite is akin to licking out gunge from beneath the toenails of goblins. True or false?

6) Do you worry about the 'current generation', and if so, what are your concerns?

7) Julian Clary. Yes or no?

8) Would you class yourself as a 'citizen of the world'?

9) Who is your favourite comedian?

10) In your opinion, P. first fell in love with you because....

What are you like when you have had a bit too much to drink?

Have you ever streaked?

What advice would you give to a one legged person in an arse kicking contest?

Have you ever dreamt of Margaret Thatcher sitting on your face?

Do you believe in the power of auto suggestion?

Do you believe in the power of auto suggestion?

Are you sure?

How many meanings are there to the word and derivatives of fuck in Geordie?

Can you translate "Wey, sum fuckin fucker's fucked the fucking fuck."?

Thank you for answering the other questions - you can always plead the fifth.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
What is your most treasured possession?
What quality do you like best in yourself?
Who is your favorite writer?
What is it you most dislike?
What is your motto?

Ooh I can't wait

1) Nipples are a prominent feature on your current LPSG photo. Are you a 'nipple man'?

Absolutely

2) How often have you ascended Mount Teide right to the summit?

Never - I have been to the top of the cable car once and was unable to do the 200 metre walk to the summit due to lack of oxygen and dizziness. My 19 year old cousin who is an ultra fit professional footballer was with me and felt the same so it must have been due to atmospherics that day. I plan to try again soon though.

3) Have you ever indulged in 'armpit sex'?

Not that I know of

4) What do you feel has been your finest hour at LPSG?

I haven't experienced it yet.

5) Eating Marmite is akin to licking out gunge from beneath the toenails of goblins. True or false?

False. I could sit and eat it right out of the jar.

6) Do you worry about the 'current generation', and if so, what are your concerns?

Yes. I feel they get everything they want. It stores up trouble for when they are out in the big bad world where you don't always get everything you want. I think that alone leads to all sorts of problems.

7) Julian Clary. Yes or no? A big No

8) Would you class yourself as a 'citizen of the world'? Absolutely. This planet is becoming more and more cosmopolitan.

9) Who is your favourite comedian? It's between Hickboy and Pecker.

10) In your opinion, P. first fell in love with you because....

He was pissed, was still living at home and I had bought my first house that very day. I think he also felt sorry for me as I'd had a shot gun to my head that day in an armed robbery at work. Quite a landmark day really. :biggrin1:

What are you like when you have had a bit too much to drink?

Very talkative, flirty and I make a joke out of everything.

Have you ever streaked?

Yes last year. At a pool party. I was first in to skinny dip.

What advice would you give to a one legged person in an arse kicking contest?

Don't bother

Have you ever dreamt of Margaret Thatcher sitting on your face?

No and that would be a nightmare rather than a dream.

Do you believe in the power of auto suggestion?

Absolutely I do. It's worked many times for me.

Do you believe in the power of auto suggestion? NO

Are you sure? Maybe

How many meanings are there to the word and derivatives of fuck in Geordie? 378.6

Can you translate "Wey, sum fuckin fucker's fucked the fucking fuck."?

Wey ya bugger man

Thank you for answering the other questions - you can always plead the fifth.

Will you give me a job?

In this current economic gloomy climate we are astounded how our business is growing. We are branching out into many different sidelines so it is not beyond the realms of possibility. :biggrin1:

I'll let you know after next May :biggrin1:

Whoops, I thought you guys had already tied the knot. Are you finding yourself nervous as the date approaches? Weddings are very intricate and a number of things can go wrong. Or, are you having a small, simple ceremony where there isn't much room for mistakes?

It originally was going to be sooner before we realised how much paperwork was involved. We also did not anticipate how many friends and family would want to some over to Tenerife for it.

Neither of us is nervous at all. We've made it clear to everyone that the ceremony is private (Us and our witnesses) and the huge party afterwards is for everyone. We've bought our suits, rings etc. Only one more piece of paper required from the local ayuntamiento and we are ready to start the ball rolling at the British Consulate.

The whole thing has been great for my Spanish and for my ability to deal with the horrendous Spanish red tape.

Hi Davey!

1) What was the last concert/music performance you went to?

2) What do you like most and least of Spain?

3) Do you have any brothers or sisters? Elder or younger?

4) What did you want to be as a kid?

5) Do you believe in ghosts/the paranormal? Have you had any related experiences?

My Oprah questions now:

6) If you could be an animal for one day, which one would you choose and why?

7) What personal characteristics do you feel you possess that would be an asset to the position for which your applying for? ... wrong questionnaire...

FWIW, that's precisely my experience too. I just turned green at the sulphury aroma and lack of oxygen up there, and headed back downwards as fast as my legs would carry me. So perhaps not something to be taken lightly, after all. Thanks for the replies, you Marmite-eating freak!
