Thanks, uncut. I enjoyed that.

This just goes to show how little we can actually see (or better, in this case, 'hear') ourselves.

Novice has a wonderful voice. He could easily do radio. There's intelligence in the voice, excellent articulation ... and as for his French accent, it's well above average for a non-native speaker. Well above.

I would rank this voice up with No_String's.

Nov! WTF, man! Go listen to yourself. Your voice is great.

Thanks, Danmingo!!! I only had a limited amount of time to do so. I had to go back and reduce the bit size of my original file from 300KB down to 75 KB. I was going to give some shouts but that file would've been ridiculously long...(longer than Mr. Snakey. )[/quote I had to convert mine because of the size to Mp3. It lost some of the quality and sounds a little muddy. The highest bit rate on an MP3 LPSG takes is 128 or so. So i should have kept the bit rate higher the quality would have been better. You should have left it up. I like that. It was cool. It was so .......... IAN:smile:

Well, my official talk-to-LPSG-member on phone cherry was just popped. I am currently basking in the afterglow.

Though I am not going to name said individual to keep you all piqued with interest, I have to say he sounded in many ways how I expected-- exuberant, full of life, fun, and sweet. In all honesty, it made my day and I might even be slightly giddy. What a sexy--cutie-pie-sweetheart.

I feel like a stupid teenager looking at my Tiger Beat magazines with full color spreads of Joey Lawrence. Sigh.

LOL

I used to buy Tiger Beat all the time, but back in my day it was David Cassidy! And Robby Benson. Oh yeah, I remember those days well...

Awww, what the heck... I've still got 5 hours on my phone card and it expires on July 15th. I'm gonna call a few members, so they are welcome to post how I sound for the group, if they wish.. It's easier than getting the microphone. :)

My teenage giddiness was "Flash Gordon" movie poster with Sam Jones on it. I had that poster on the wall...and a picture I got from school of Sam Jones on it. My mom took the picture from me...I guess that was my first virtual cock block. It was a harmless school gurl crush...that happened to be with a guy on a "Flash Gordon" poster. Hehehe.

OK, OK, I've been getting public and private pressure about putting up my voice. Well, I've been avoiding it, because I hate it. Eeesh! My voice, and accent, change a lot, depending on who's near. If I hear a strong accent, I'll start picking up bits of it. Not mocking, just more absorbing. Also, when I speak another language, a friend told me that I change voices with each one. I don't notice it, but he swears, it goes up, or down, depending on the language.

English - Mainly mid-western, but some Canadian thrown in (mainly "washroom" and "eh"), due to proximity to the border, and my dad being from there, although he has a strange accent that other Canadians don't recognize. Within my own family, the accents vary wildly, and most of us are from the same county.

French - It used to be a mix, but now, it just SUCKS, and sounds totally American! My Grandmother was from "northern" France, my instructors in school were either Parisian, or educated there, and on top of it all, I also studied in Québec (Université Laval) for a while. My "standard" accent sucks so bad now, that when I listened to the recording, I stopped it about 2 seconds into it, and almost puked

Russian - "Are you from one of the Baltic states, or maybe East Germany?" Yes, that's a quote that I got regarding my accent. Translated, but still a quote.

Swedish - "Most of your accent is pretty good, but some words you sound like a Czech immigrant." (???) Yup, another quote.

Greek - "You sound good for an American. Sometimes almost Greek-sounding, but not from Athens." Still another "rave" review

I've put in a sample of each. I think they all just sound generically American.

Yikes, I think I just came a little in my pants after listening to that NB. Très, très sexy!

Hi I hope this works here is my voice I hope you enjoy it !

Yummy! Your voice is reminding me of someone I know, but for the life of me I cannot think of who.
I hear Saturday Night Live's Maya Rudolph in there, and I LOVE her voice!

Damnit, I think I promised you I would do this if you do
I guess I'll be making a trip to the Apple store over the weekend to buy a mic
