Actually, I sound like a Midland white guy with a slight country accent. Okay? :smile: I was a tenor in high school though. No velvety, Bailey's Irish Creme, Barry White sucking on a massive big cock, deep ass voice on me. Sorry.

I hear a sweet, innocent quality in your voice. Your pitch (guessing here, of course) is average, but you tend to go up quite high on various phrases in your sentences ... more than most women. You may sound a little self-effacing.
You're quite concerned with sounding like a lady ... although you don't at all want to carry that too far. But your content saves you on that one. You'll talk about basically anything ... but the (surprisingly daring) young girl in the modest party dress is always somewhere in your tone.
(And then, for some reason, I hear these overtones ... something French, a touch of Spanish, a hint of the Orient ... all of these suggesting a kind of laisser-faire approach to life, and all rounded out with a kind of controlled Teutonic linearity in the vowel sounds.

I mean compared to the other people who dont share our ragging hormones. Its all a matter of opinon on what a sexy voice is. Im thinking of getting a microphone and putting a wave file up of my voice. It would be fun if others did too. We could do a hole voice thread.:smile:

I am very flattered. My voice is quite high and I often get asked, is your mom home. That doesn't quite fit the 5'10" 43 yo woman that I am and am at times uneasy with my voice. On occassion I am on the local news and/or radio and I cant stand to hear and/or see myself, mostly due to the voice.
You're very close. My concern is usually, hoping that I don't sound like a twit.

I think voices are amazing and consequently interesting when they don't seem to "fit" the person with whom we associate it with. I constantly get questions too, Act2_Begins_Now, if people can speak with my "mother" or "father." I do find it quite helpful, though, when I don't want to talk to folk... I simply tell them they are not available. :biggrin1:
On a side note... I would LOVE to have the Barry White voice... but alas... a tenor and always a tenor...

When I was coming along guys used to lie down on their beds to talk on the phone so that they could try to sound a bit deeper or growly. Barry White they were not but I didnt burst their bubbles unless they asked for it! LOL! Usually Teddy Pendergrass' "Turn out the lights" would usually take me there! LOL!
