Had no idea where to put this, so im putting it here and apologizing in advance :)

Im 18, gay, but anally virgin.

I have not ever done anything with my ass, not even fingered it.

So I was wanting to know how to start (sounds silly when i type this but I have no idea) :p

Which lube should I get? What should I do?
How and what can I work up to (bigger and bigger)? without buying actual sex toys (wont be able to hide them well enough from room mate)???

Cheers and thanks in advance :D

    Thanks guys

any water soluble lube is good like ky jelly, a product called WET (which I like). If the lube dries just spray the area with some water and it will re-moisten or add more lube. Start with your fingers but keep your finger nails short. Use a come hear motion with your finger to rub your prostate.

I use Eros, a silicone-based lube, for anal. Can't recall the exact reason someone gave me in support of silicone lube, but, IIRC, the products are supposed to provide an added layer of protection for anal from disease.

Which should not matter if you and your partner are regularly tested and using safer sex practices, as I and my anal sex Lord are - he's that good, so I've deified him. However, I also prefer the lighter feel and starting out at body temperature... seriously, ice cold lube on the ahole is no fun.

If you are wanting to explore on your own, I recommend your fingers and olive or sweet almond oil - assuming no allergies and no plan to use condoms shortly thereafter. The slip with these oils feels quite lovely and both oils are light enough to allow you to experience the stretch, textures and so forth w/o a gooey feeling.

Astroglide is pretty good as well...always use water-based for fucking. If it's just fingering or toys, any lube is really OK.

It seems personal preference dictates silicone vs water based? true?

I was looking at Swiss Navy, anyone used it, what you guys think of it?

Thanks to everyone for the help so far :D much appreciated.
