This was Grimes' debut on TrueBlood. He'll have a recurring role playing the "70's type" vamp James for the remainder of this season.

Some caps from TB and one pic in his boxers from Brothers & Sisters ....

I have always wondered how someone as homophobic as him got hired on Brothers & Sisters and True Blood, two hit shows that were on the leading edge of giving queer characters representation and run by openly gay showrunners. Particularly the latter, did he completely miss that just about every character was gay, bi, or featured in multiple homoerotic dream sequences?

Lol please, actors have limits. Some don't want to do loves scenes of any kind because they're in a real-life relationship and are uncomfortable doing it. Some won't do nudity. Some won't depict violence or whatever.

His decision to leave the show, rather than compromise himself, is admirable. It doesn't reflect his opinions toward gay people. And even if it did, he's allowed to have these opinions

Dude, he willingly signed on for a high profile show where every regular except Lois Smith had nude scenes, and he was just fine with love scenes when Deborah Ann Woll was his acting partner. It was only when he found out he would also be making out with a male actor in the next season that he bailed, and cast members like Nelsan Ellis publicly called him out about doing so.

It TOTALLY reflects his opinions about gay people, and I'm allowed to have the opinion he's bigoted trash because of it.

Found the homophobe apologist. GTFOH.
