MacBook cam for vid chat on LPSG - HELP!

Does anyone know how to use a built-in iSight cam for vid streaming in your chat room? I'm unable to connect. Do you need to be a paid member to use this feature?

u dont have to be a paid member.. other mac users had problems at first..
try sending a post to the support center forum!

I have several different "applications" that the computer thinks is a camera. Once you're in video chat, click on the settings in the upper right hand corner (blue icon that looks like a gear). Find the a/v options and make sure it's accessing your camera and not something else - like the DVD player, or digital camera drivers your regular digital camera loaded.

You can cam with a mac buil-in. Well at least I can using 10.4.11 with a built in cam. When you join the chat room a small window will open offering some choices for cam and mic- I clicked the cam button to the far right and selected USB Video Class Video. Or, as mentioned above by aprevious poster, you can click the gear (settings) icon at the top right corner of the video chat window, select the A/V settings tab, and select the USB Video Class Video there.
