So, i'm browsing some sites,
and one of the banners had an ad for this
make your own dildo kit.
And the tag line was "now you can fuck yourself"....

I will most likely not ever do this.
For one thing, i dont have a great desire to
fuck myself,
especially for 70 bucks.

But the curiosity about the kit is there.
Has anyone done this?
What in the world does it feel like,
did it work,
and if you have it what do you do with it?
Or, who did you give it to.

My ex was always gonna do this,
and sometimes i wish he had.

But...I dont think i have ever known
anyone who tried this out.
 
BigStroker: Nope, never saw a kit, but you can do it at home -- cheap! Get a 1/2 gal. milk carton, cut off the top. This next step requires exquisite timing: have enough quick set plater of paris premeasured, and water, sitting ready to go. Get yourself all excited, then cover completely with vaseline. Mix the plaster, pout into the carton, SLOWLY to avoid air pockets, shake. Place erection inside. YOu have to stand at a funny angle to keep the plaster from sliding out and you don't want your dick to move at all. This is tricky. The plaster sets in couple of minutes -- keep your hard! When the plaster's done, deflate and your dick should slip out easliy. Let the plaster dry overnight. Then get some liquid latex or rubber, not hard to find, carefully fill the mold, ratte it to get air bubbles out and let the latex set. Then a hammer and chisel will take the plaster off and you've got a new you!
Another way to do it is to cut a hole in the bottom of the carton, fill it with plaster (yes, some will fall through) lie on your back and hold the mold on top.
This method works very well...a roommate and I made casts of each other in college and still have these treasured heirlooms! We made them of several other frat members who gave them to girlfriends. With practive you can also include your nuts, but SHAVE FIRST!
 
I don't use plaster for the mold: I use alginate. It's lightweight, flexible, and doesn't stick to hair. It's intended for making temporary molds, like for dental impressions. The brand I use is Insta-Mold. It's available at Michael's craft store and is pretty inexpensive. You pour plaster or dental stone into the mold and you have an attractive coffee table objet d'art. You can use the plaster cock to form a permanent plaster mold for more modeling fun, if you want. I even have candles and soap shaped like my cock! I have done cock molds for some of my friends. One friend once used his as a Jell-O mold!
 
I've made my own dildos for years, out of ordinary materials available at any discount store. That's how I enjoy anal play when traveling. I can't imagine having my luggage searched and the security personnel pulling out a big dildo in the middle of a throng of travelers at an airport.

If anyone is interested, I might be inclined to share. I'll be honest - I've never shared this information with anyone else, ever.

BigStroker: That's one thing plaster has over alginate (which I've never tried). We made several dildos by filling the plaster mold with molten lead -- be careful! The weight is tremendous and makes a great paper weight. We also got an art major to try filling one with glass -- didn't work. Bonded with the plaster.

Grease the interior of the mold with castor oil. It prevents bonding, but doesn't ruin the casting surface. Coloured acrylic cocks are attractive pieces also. I have a purple acrylic cock with fuchsia glitter suspended in it on my bed side table.

DMW, Thanks for the cool tips on how to do this.... I went to Micheals on Thursday and picked up 3 components:
Insta Mold: Mold making compound, 8.99
Perma Stone: shatter resistant casting compound, 4.99
Plaster of Paris: quick setting, 3.29
total with state tax: 18.48

(Compared to the previously purchased "Create-a-Cock" molding kit which costed 60 bucks, I consider the latest purchase a lot better. I didn't think the CAC kit was any good either. The molding compound was lumpy and watery and one of the compounds to create the rubber dildo was completely dried up inside the bottle. That was a waste of money all together.)

While I was there though, I saw a a canister on the same aisle that was a clear liquid "acrylic" type stuff (it was in a metal container like you find paint thinner in). You may have seen it used in vases to hold artificial flowers in place and looks like water. I was going to buy that instead of the perma stone (which is bright white) but it said it need another compound that hardens the liquid. I can't remember the exact name of the 2nd compound. I asked the sales associate if they had the stuff and he couldnt' find it.

SO, DMW, you said you made some out of acrylic right? Where did you buy this stuff. And does the insta mold stick to pubes? Do I need to put something on my dick to keep it from sticking to the insta mold? Did you have to cut the casting out of the insta mold or can you just pull it out?

I bought the acrylic at an art supply store. It is clear, and it does require a hardening agent. It can be easily coloured if you prefer.

Insta-Mold does not stick to the pubic hair or to the skin. That's one great advantage. However, it does need a rigid support shell. You can use a 2 litre soda bottle with part of the bottom cut out of it, or after to cover your cock with the Insta-Mold, you can cover the whole works in plaster bandages. Either way, it's still a much more economical route than the Create-A-Cock kit.

You don't have to cut the casting you remove it from your cock. It's flexible enough to allow easy removal.
 
Alright then.. what I'll do is try to find the hardening agent, go ahead and purchase the arcrylic stuff too, and then give myself a 3-5 day hiatas from jacking off. This is going to be ROUGH! As soon as I get this project completed and get the pics ready, I'll post the results.
