Must have: Charcoal or chocolate eyeliner - I occasionally wear a dark blue or purple, but not often.
Never ever: blush and lipstick. With blush I just don't do it well so it looks bad. And I don't need it enough to bother practicing. With lipstick it's more that I have shapely, full, quite dark lips already - if I wear a dark or bright colour I feel it draws way to much focus to my mouth and, with a light skinned and round face I just look a little too porcelain doll. Not a look I like on me. I do have a very gentle ashes of roses lipstick and liner that I like and will wear when not wearing lipstick looks underdressed (i.e. with evening wear - not that that need arises too often at the moment).
I'm sure that's extremely important to someone other than you. Or not. I'm sure my friends with naevus flammeus (aka 'port wine stain') and facial scars will immediately stop wearing foundation just to please you. Or not.

for me a woman that uses too much make up is hiding something or is something wrong with her.
