Malcolm played the lead in "Caligula". Some of his scenes are sexy, but the epic movie is too long for me to remember any specific scenes. But everybody remembers "Lucky Fellows" huge cock in the orgy scene. Malcolm is a great movie villain, one of the best.

I disagree that it's a mess (except for the R-rated version). It's definitely not stupid, with Gore Vidal and 5 other script writers. It's a Hollywood movie (made in Rome) so of course it's inaccurate, but it depicts the decadence of Rome better than any other Hollywood "Sword and Sandal" epic.

Most of us are awaiting nudes!

I get what you're saying, but it just became a porn fest. I love Gore Vidal, but I think it was a disaster due to too many cooks. I know Gore Vidal was fucking pissed about the film.

They really needed oversight. When you don't even know that they're re-filming graphic orgies and splicing them in, you know there's a problem.

Gore Vidal was incredibly hot in his younger years.

"If..." is supposedly the first British film to show full frontal nudity.All recent tv screenings (and the recent dvd version,apparently) have edited out the full frontal shots but I'm sure they were there when I first saw it.
