I had mine while working at a local department store. The Dr. said the cause was going from the unairconditioned stock rooms, sweating and not drinking enough the going directly out on the airconditioned floor to stock. Antibiotics and pleanty of fluids cleared it up in about two weeks.

The pain was like a belt around my back and like you said worse when laying down.

Make sure you take all of the antibiotics even if you are feeling better.

lot of water,, yougurt, cranbetty juice. antibiotics take more than 2 days to kick in. take them til the pill bottle is empty, and keep drinking lots of water, etc after the pills run out. now here's the twist, antibiotics sometimes cause bladder infection.

Bonjour...
I hope you get better soon. I am still puzzled by the way you might have caught it. Some people have an intensive sounding masturbatory acitvity and seem never to have any problems. Do you have a large meatus so that infective agents can get up your urethra?

Danke schon.

I don't know what constitutes a large meatus.:biggrin1:

sounds like a prostate infection. I have had one and it took a long time to get rid of. I had non-bacterial prostatitis just had to go away on its own. Go to the doctor they only have to stick there finger in your ass for a second. :0

And there is also a non-bacterial bladder infection as well, if I understand well.

Hope you're getting better...hate to think about that mouthwatering bull-meat being out of commission!

Last night, I jacked it until I blew. I couldn't stand the big boner -- it just wouldn't go down.:biggrin1: My semen was thick and creamy from not having cum for a few days.

I've heard that, too, particularly if you take them a lot.

I had something like this before, but it went away in few days with just cranberry juice and water.

I never heard that, for us girls it's to much antibiotics cause yeast infections. Taking probiotics helps this as well.

Maybe that was it!

I'm taking Aleve for the ache. It feels like my whole package is arthritic. Things are getting better, but I still have trouble sleeping at night.

If you can get your hands on the 100% cranberry juice, instead of 'cranberry juice cocktail', it's fairly bitter going down, but it knocked out my UTI in a day.

Thank you! I will remember that. Yes, cranberry juice cocktail is not 100% cranberry juice.

I seem to be getting better. The pulling down feeling is easing up, but I still have some burning and lower back pain.

male UTI's are not cool at all! i had my first one earlier this year and because i've never had one before i just passed off the cramps as some kind of intestinal bug. well a week later when they hadnt gone away and i was having strong burning sensations when i urinated and my lower back was starting to hurt i went to the doctor. i had a bladder infection but because i waited it spread into a kidney infection. they put me on really strong antibiotics and it wasover a month before i was back to normal. and oddly enough i have to agree with earlier posters here. the nurse and doctor told me that they are worse for male patients because our urethrea is longer and more narrow than a females. they even said in most cases they prescribe vicoden to male patients because of the more severe pain they have with them.
