I mean, the do not post list speaks for itself. There are some very big names in there

I discovered this forum recently, until then accustomed to the neutral content of shirtless photos on IG.

It amazes and frightens me in equal parts that many of the male models I follow on IG at some point have uploaded sexual photos/videos to the internet. And that even though they deleted their OF or Nirvana accounts, that material is still (fractionally) on the internet.

Do you know of any cases of models who have been seriously harmed by this? Just wondering

This very sad article in Out magazine in 2013 outlines some of the issues you raise. It's called "The Porn Problem" and it is very apposite for this thread:

The Porn Problem

It is not the issues of the porn still being out there when you retire, it is the isolating and dehumanising work itself which seems to be the problem.

Companies are compiling databases of face photos from Rentmen. (Clearview is a big one). Many businesses and local and federal governments use them as facial recognition databases. Recently several males and females have been denied entrance to the US because they listed as escorts at some time and their faces were caught at immigration. So those people in the facial recognition databases are marked for life as "immoral" for having advertised as escorts some place some time. Why escorts blur or hide part of their faces in ads suddenly. There are no privacy laws against it in the US and since mass facial recognition is just starting, I assume it will come to include many "immoral" connections.
