Obviously definitions of masculinity evolve. Why do you think Michelangelo's David, the ideal man, had a small penis? Which i understand was a common aesthetic at the time. Was it just that it had a religious origin and commission and the penis shouldn't even be noticed?
Whereas today's society we view men having huge penises as more masculine and ideal? Although, i would say based on my experience women do not care about size.
Do you think have we evolved? I'm not so sure. I think this is a complicated question with complicated answers but given this is LPSG and people here obviously have a bias, i am curious to your thoughts?
thank you!
