Curious how many frequent gay/male strip clubs.

I see the Swinging Richards in Atlanta is closing its doors permanently.

Is the Coronet still open?

As for me, I have hired some dancers for private parties but never really got into the strip club scene. Some beautiful bodies and big yummy cocks, but all seems a tease.

I was just reading about this on another forum. I danced at some third-tier places when I was young but it was (usual) more as speaker meat for a dance party than an actual strip show. On the other side of the equation I have checked out some places and just felt like it was all just trying to get you to hire them for one-on-one stuff, which... nah. I just want a show, thanks.

There are apparently only a handful of places left in the country that have nude male dancers, according to what I'm reading.

I worked in a few strip clubs off an on while doing private party gigs. It could have been the clubs I worked, definitely not high end, but they seemed to be fading in popularity the years leading up to the shutdown. Definitely a shift to “tasteful” nude entertainment such as paint and sip parties or burlesque type shows. Same nude entertainment just rebranded.

I'm an old fart, this was years ago. Also never worked in NYC. I was downstate, CT, and AC plus a few ventures to DC and New Orleans.

You know who Daniel Nardicio is, the promoter? He used to do great raunchy parties but these days it seems like he's much more into drag and cabaret stuff.

Seen the name. Don’t know him. Dlist?

Did a few gigs in NO, LA and Miami on event weeks. More to pay for the trip than make any money. Guy I worked for had links to promoters in those areas. Club type stuff. Most party gigs were LA or NYC. Yep, raunchy.

Working at a male club was a lot of fun. Mine was a full nude club which definitely helped with tips. Most people are super friendly and I never had a “memorable” bad experience or shift
That's terrific. Were the customers men or women or both? I bet the men were better tippers lol!

Both, and they honestly all tipped pretty well!!!! Whipping my flaccid cock out usually gets a good reaction haha
Awesome!! Was that at the Coronet Club? Or Swining Richards? DId you ever get an erection? I bet Atlanta is a big party scene today after the Dawgs win last night!

Oh man. This is so sad. I've gone to a fair amount of gay strip clubs around the US when I was traveling more for work, and Swinging Richards was my favorite. God, I spent a lot of money in that place. I assume that COVID killed it. An institution!!

Actually swinging dicks is closing because the owner ripped off employees/dancers for years and was sued. Rather than pay up; he’s declaring bankruptcy and closing the doors forever. If I had experience in that business, I’d buy it from bankruptcy and re open it.

being on ald fart - i can remember The Gaity in New York - many fun times spent in same when i was in new york on holidays.
once cleared i plan to visit NY - i want to see Hugh Jackman in Music Man , Hamilton, bob dylans musical and hopefully 1776

If you are a big fan of male dancers you would want to see if your visit coincides with a show at Adonis (I think they are every other week?). There's also something called Buff Boyz (sp?) which features nude dancers but is located at a normally-female strip club way out on Long Island. Not easily reached if you don't have a car.

Johnson's in Wilton Manors can be fun. This type of club is a dying breed sadly. None were as great as The Gaiety. Period. End of sentence.
I'm annoyed with myself for not checking it out when I was in that area but I was with other people and couldn't keep disappearing. I did have fun trying on gear in the shops there with a lot of "help" from staff.
