This is a complex issue. To me BO is a turn off. BO is mostly caused by bacteria and fungi on unclean skin. But male sweat can have a musky smell that is a huge turn on. It also has pheromones. Bad smells are an instant turn off. A buddy once didn't shower for me because he thought I was into funky odors, but I wasn't. He once called his own cum nasty, but it isn't to me. As I've mentioned here before, my husband has a gene that eliminates body odour completely. In 20 years I haven't smelled any BO on him even though he doesn't use deodorant and sometimes goes two or three days between showers. His smell is totally natural and I enjoy it.
