Italian1 was a friend of mine, and he was always good to me and a couple of other people I know.

Politically, he's conservative, so he clashed in some threads with some people.

But he was NOT nasty.

I don't care what anyone says, he was NOT a bad person.

Actually, I didn't like him very much. That being said, I personally don't remember anything that he did to deserve banning. He just repeated some of the same ol' conservative stuff many others keep repeating... That's not bad, right? Maybe I'm missing something.

Ain't that the truth! IMHO Lafever, Arliss, Mem0101; and Italian1/978/AndyA all should have been banned months ago but for different reasons.

Yeah, I don't know why Mem got it too. He was sometimes funny and sometimes annoying. I'm sure there are those who think that about me too...

I don't think mem deserves to be banned ... he's improved a lot over the past months.
And Italian didn't deserve to be banned for his posts per se, but several people believed he had already been banned under other user names.
I don't know what the truth is on that one.
But if he had been banned, and the mods discovered that, then according to the rules they are obligated to ban him under his new identity.
I liked Italian1 in PMs.
Found him quite a decent guy ... not necessarily the most natural fit to the board, though.
But that alone would not, I hope, have gotten him banned.

ok here are a few threads that where heated, if you want to do some reading there are others for sure but to list them all would take all night.

this has been going on for months now and I'm sure that if they allow one or two of these to return they will be right back to their old ways.
